APD
Overview
In response to a call for tender by Groupe ADP (Aéroports de Paris), I collaborated with two interior architects to reimagine the airport sanitary experience. Our proposal aimed to transform these high-traffic utility spaces into a refined "pause in time," inspired by the French Art de Vivre. We moved away from standard industrial layouts to create a soothing, lounge-like atmosphere featuring circular flows and premium materials like terrazzo and copper mesh.
My contribution
My role focused on the industrial design of bespoke furniture and the overall service strategy. I developed custom elements specifically for this environment, including a central washbasin island ("Bar à Mains") designed to optimize passenger flow, and a unique wall-mounted valet to improve hygiene and comfort within the cabins. Beyond the physical design, I structured a new service offering called "Shower Land," a bookable private shower experience for travelers, bridging the gap between spatial design and user service.
