Jizô AI
A cybersecurity dashboard can contain the right data and still slow down a decision. Jizô AI brought together alerts, network activity and performance indicators, but the existing interface made priority and time difficult to read. As the sole UX/UI designer, I audited the product and redesigned its dashboard around a clearer question: what requires attention now, and what context is needed to act?

Prioritise before adding
The audit showed that critical information competed with secondary indicators. I reduced the default dashboard to four key KPIs and placed supporting data behind progressive disclosure, preserving depth without making everything equally loud.
Give the whole page one time frame
Different widgets could display different periods, while labels such as “12h” lacked a precise reference. I introduced a global period selector and explicit start and end dates so screenshots, reports and comparisons retained their meaning.
Combine related signals
Alert levels were previously split across multiple graphs. Consolidating them into one view made comparison easier and reduced repeated visual structures.
Make dark mode operational
I rebuilt colour, typography and reusable components to improve contrast and distinguish severity without relying on colour alone. The UI kit also gave future dashboard work a consistent foundation.
Outcome
The project delivered a redesigned dashboard concept, reusable component system and clearer interaction rules for alerts, time ranges and KPIs.
Jizô AI remains an active network-observability product. Its public site presents clear, actionable alerts as a core product promise; this case study shows the design reasoning used to make that promise tangible in the interface, without claiming unmeasured improvements in analyst performance.
It demonstrates my ability to turn expert data into a decision hierarchy without oversimplifying the technical system behind it.
