Association Parme

Association Parme already offered an online housing application, but the journey remained rigid: residence selection, a form that had to be completed in one sitting, supporting documents sent separately and manual processing by the team.

I designed and built a more continuous experience connecting discovery, comparison, selection and application. Applicants can explore residences, keep up to two choices and carry them into the form without creating an account.

An online platform, but a fragmented journey

The application was already digital. The friction came from the rigidity of the journey: a form that had to be completed in one sitting, no way to resume or edit the application, supporting documents sent separately and manual review by the team. I reframed the project around the complete decision journey: discover, compare, select, then apply.

Make the housing offer understandable

I organised the residences around location, availability, housing type, surface area and price. A searchable interface and interactive map let applicants move between geographic exploration and detailed residence information without losing context.

Turn comparison into a visible selection

Applicants can add one or two residences to a persistent shortlist, review their choices and remove them before applying. Instead of introducing accounts and passwords, I used browser storage to preserve the selection during the session. This kept the experience lightweight while still giving users continuity.

Build beyond Webflow’s native limits

I kept residence content and availability manageable through Webflow CMS, then used custom code for the interactive map, selection logic and transfer of chosen residences into the application flow. The result combines an editable client-facing system with product behaviour that Webflow does not provide out of the box.

Outcome

The solution enables applicants to browse 51 residences, filter the offer, select up to two options and continue into an online application.

What was previously a rigid online platform, supplemented by separate document exchanges and manual processing, becomes a clearer and more continuous journey for applicants. The Association Parme team retains control of residence content and availability through Webflow CMS.

For me, the project is a strong example of end-to-end product ownership, from framing a real-world service problem to designing the interaction model and implementing the working system.
